Started out in 2019 as a creative outlet for a single mom turned into a small business venture. Having loved wearing scarves my whole life, as it adds a dash of colour and excitement to my otherwise minimalist wardrobe. I love turning my experiences and travels into colourful interpretations, and then into a scarf.
Through the last few years I’ve struggled to find suppliers that offer quality fabrics, and the printing thereof, with reasonable rates and sustainable work ethics. I’ve recently found an international supplier that offers all of this and turned my business model into an international one, having the scarves made in the UK, whilst still holding stock in South Africa for local orders.
Going forward, I am working on collections that empower LGBTQI, female empowerment and environmental objectives. 10% of the profits from these collections’ sales go to specific organisations that support these objectives. These organisations are IGLYO, WWF and Girls Not Brides.
